What Is DayPlay at KOVA Sonoma?

Boutique social play —
small groups, big fun

DayPlay at KOVA Sonoma is a boutique social experience. We keep play groups intentionally small (2–5 dogs) because we need to see who is drinking, pooping, playing, and who they choose as friends. Throughout the day, small groups are rotated across different yards — so your pet meets new friends while keeping old ones nearby.

Our hands‑on approach means your dog feels safe and understood: they can be held, enjoy a pool party, chase tennis balls from the machine, or play chase. Rolling on K9 grass or real grass after a swim? Always makes us laugh.

+$10 ($74 total)

Our daycare program is designed as a full-day experience, with dedicated staffing, supervised play groups, rest periods, feeding schedules, facility access, and individualized care throughout the day.

Because we plan our staffing and reserve space for each dog for the full day, we do not offer hourly or partial-day pricing.

You’re welcome to use as much or as little of the day as works for your schedule. Simply drop off and pick up at your convenience during our regular daycare hours.

Rules & Important Notes

A few guidelines — for the best stay

  • Check-in / out: After 7am check-in, pick up by 11am (or add day play). All drop-offs by 4pm.

  • Bedding: We provide clean, comfy bedding — please avoid bringing items from home.

  • Food: Keep your pup on their diet. Pre-measure & bag each meal (no fee). Otherwise, $2 fee.

  • Wet/raw food: $1.50 extra — refrigerated, prepared in a separate kitchen.

  • Medication / vitamins / supplements: $3.00 — provide strict doses for our staff.

  • Same-day reservations (without prior booking): $10 extra per dog.

  • Special needs: Email the office in advance.

  • Pool Time - $15 per day. Our resort pool is available to all dogs! Add a day of supervised pool access to your dog's daycare or boarding stay for just $15 per day — the perfect way to cool off, play, and enjoy a little extra KOVA fun.
